Here I go finding humor again because you have to, to get through life. I have had to keep an ace bandage wrapped around my “foobs” (fake boobs) to help reduce fluid buildup following the surgery and reconstruction.
With the heat, stitches and wrap I get very itchy. Usually it’s the normal summer boob sweat areas that get itchy but this morning my back was especially itchy.
As I walking through a park this morning I passed a woman walking with a small hook she was holding in one arm. After realizing I won’t be the next victim in I Still Know What You Did Last Summer…Yes it’s Still Not Over, I noticed this was a massage type tool for the shoulders and back.
I was turning around slightly after I passed this woman and walking behind her I kept thinking man could I really use that hook for my back right now. But it wouldn’t be appropriate to take it from her. And it would be pretty weird to ask this woman if I could borrow her hook to scratch my really itchy back right now.
So I continuing walking behind her thinking about my very itchy back and hoping I could pass her so I could stop thinking about how much I want the hook she has right now. Thankfully she paused to look at her phone and I was able to pass her.
I still spent the rest of my walk itchy but wasn’t thinking about it quite as much after passing the woman with the hook. Instead I laughed to myself about the immediate thoughts of the I Know What You Did Last Summer movies when I saw the hook.
So that’s the end of today’s random connections. You gotta find the humor in life to get through. Today it got my through my itchy back and very hot walk.
